Charlie David Watkins

Charlie David Watkins, 88, of Ringgold, VA passed away Monday November 24, 2025, at Sovah Health Danville.

Born February 19, 1937, in Pittsylvania County, VA he was the son of the late Percy Deshazor and Louise Watkins Deshazor. He was married to Janie Luck Watkins, who survives.

In addition to his wife, survivors include three daughters Gladys Cobbs, Jackie Harrell and Samantha Robertson (Dennis); one sister Lenora Lee; four brothers Lawerence Deshazor (Sylvia), Lonnie Deshazor (Betty), James Deshazor, and Raleigh Deshazor; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four sisters Hazel Walton, Gertrude Farmer, Minnie Hood and Helen Deshazor; five brothers Carlton Watkins, Clarence Watkins, Ernest Deshazor, Ivory Deshazor and Lester Deshazor.

The family will receive visitors at the residence 528 Childress Road Ringgold Virginia.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 29, 2025, 1P.M. at Apostolic Faith Temple. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be one hour prior to service 12 P.M. to 1 P.M.
