Charles Edward Wilson, 65, of Danville, Virginia passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, at his residence.

Born December 5, 1958, in Danville, Virginia he was the son of the late Fern Wilson and Martha Gunter Wilson. He was married to Wanda Lanier Wilson, who survives.

In addition to his wife, survivors include three daughters Sheena Wilson, Shannon Wilson, and Makeda Billingsley; one son LaRob Billingsley; six sisters Della Glass, Virginia Bennett (Lewis), Frances Enoch (Robert), Margie Bowe, Audrey Tatum (Lester), and Sharon Wilson; two brothers William Wilson and Richard Wilson (Agnes); one grandchild Jordan Wilson; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister Mary Ferguson; and three brothers Melvin Wilson, George Wilson, and Jerry Wilson.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday August 28, 2024, at 1 P.M. at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday August 27, 2024, from 4-6 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Services.
