Brenda Faye (Stone) Carter

Brenda Faye Carter, 73, of Danville Virginia passed away Saturday January 24, 2026, at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville Virginia.

Born October 6, 1952, Pittsylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Elijah Stone Sr. and Queen Terry Stone who survives. She was married to the late George Carter Sr.

In addition to her mother survivors include one daughter Katrena Carter (Shawand Barbour); one son George Carter Jr. (Monique); one sister Marlin Stone Fitzgerald; three brothers Elijah Stone Jr., Mike Stone and Jimmy Lewis Stone (Phyllis); eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by one son Calvin Carter and one brother Roosevelt Stone.

The family will receive visitors at the residence 217 Kenmore Drive Danville Virginia from 12:30 P.M. to 6 P.M. daily.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday February 4, 2026, at 1 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Service Chapel. A visitation will be held on Tuesday February 3, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. to 5 P.M. the family will be present from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Service Chapel.
