Barbara Ann Fitzgerald Terry, 77, of Danville Virginia passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at her home.

Born June 27, 1948, in Pittsylvania County she was the daughter of the late James Hightower and Mamie Fitzgeerald Crawley.  She was married to Rev. Richard A. Terry, who survives.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother Billy Fitzgerald, a great- granddaughter Ry’Neisha Polk.

She leaves to cherish her memory in addition to her husband; two daughters Anita Renee Douglas, Michelle Polk-Jones (Jamar); one son Kenneth Terry; one sister Michelle Crawley; eight grandchildren Ryan Polk, Kytia Terry-Davis, Rashad Polk, Kenneth Terry Jr., Ranita Polk, Maya Douglas-Rodriguez, Khloe Glass, Jayden Jones; fourteen great- grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 132 Andes Drive Danville, VA 24540 on Wednesday and Thursday only from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 06, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 656 Blairs Circle Blairs, VA 24527. Interment will follow at Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Wilson Funeral Service & Cremation, Inc from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
