Audrey (Brooks) Hubbard

With profound love and endless admiration, we honor the life of Audrey Brooks Hubbard who at the age of 77 embarked on her peaceful journey to eternity on April 29, 2025, at Yanceyville Health and Rehab Center. 

Born August 2, 1947, in Danville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John Alfred Brooks and Catherine Brooks Smith. She was predeceased in death by her brother John Allen Brooks. In the wake of her departure remain loving memories. 

Those who cherish her two daughters: Brenda Harris (Michael) and Tammy Wimbish (James); one of her greatest blessings, a grandson: Zachery Moore (Britara); an aunt: Thelma S. Ford and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Her spirit lives on through the light of her family and friends.  

Audrey's journey on Earth may have ceased but the love, wisdom and joy she imparted will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her life was a testament to the beauty and strength of human spirit and her memory will be enshrined within us eternally. She was generous, loving and a giving person to everyone, not just family but friends as well.  As mom always said "Love You More"

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 3, 2025, at 1 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Services and Cremation Inc. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park
