Antoni Lamar Logan

Antoni “Toni” Lamar Logan, 40, of Danville, VA, departed this life on Thursday, February 24, 2022. 

Born on July 31,1981 in Danville, VA he was the son of Melissa “Missy” Logan Cosby, Rick Cosby and Lionell Petty.

Toni was preceded in death by his loving maternal grandparents Nannie and Fred “Allen” Logan of the “Almagro Community” in Danville, VA.

He was educated in the public school system and excelled academically. Toni received his early Christian education at “Shiloh Baptist Church” 901 Betts St. Danville, VA under the leadership of his Pastor, Rev. Cecil Bridgeforth and the village known as the “Almagro Community”. Toni was faithful to his community his entire life, always willing to help his extended family and friends for he understood to love requires action.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Melissa Cosby, Rick Cosby and Lionell Petty of Danville, VA; his son TyMarioun Davis of Greensboro, NC ; his daughter Akylah Logan of Danville, VA; brothers Richard Cosby of Greensboro, NC and Brandon Jeffries of Roanoke, VA; a sister Artisha Jones of Danville VA; paternal grandparents Charlie and Constance Petty of Danville VA, Anita Cosby of Greensboro, NC and Richard Cosby of Hampton, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and special friends.

There will be a public viewing on Thursday March 3, 2022 from 5-8 PM at Wilson Funeral Services. Mask are required

At other times the family will be at the home of his mother Mrs. Melissa Cosby 600 Ingram St, Danville, VA; With visitation limited to the hours of 11:30- 2:00PM and 5:30:00-8:00PM (At the family's request) Mask are required.
