Anthony Glen Baynes “Doc” 56 departed this life on Friday September 12, 2025, at Roanoke Carillion Hospital.

He was born on July 14,1969, in Danville, VA to Mary M. Baynes and the late Willie Junior Baynes. Anthony received his education in the Danville Public School System. He was a self-employed Jack of All Trades. His skills knew no boundaries. He could fix anything and in his later years was a well renown Landscaper and painter. Anthony was known for being there to help anyone with anything they needed. Anthony was genuinely loved by his community, family, and friends. He reciprocated that love equally. Anthony leaves to cherish his precious and loving memories;
one daughter Sanessha Baynes, four sons; An’Tawn Baynes, Terrance Adkins, Patrick Baynes, and Shawn Baynes all of Danville, VA. His loving mother Mary M. Baynes, two sisters; Rita Petty and Lisa Baynes and one brother; William Lynn Baynes (Lavern). Anthony also leaves to cherish his memories twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also, his special friend Joyce Stone and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

The Family will receive visitors at the residence 824 Stokes St. Danville Virginia. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday September 19, 2025, at 1 P.M. at The Remnant Church of Power.
