Angelia Denise Fitzgerald, 67, of Danville Virginia passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at Sovah Health of Danville.

Born April 22, 1959, in Danville VA she was the daughter of the late Slyvester Rodgers and Shirley Weatherford Rodgers.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Larry Fitzgerald, a daughter Lakestia Rodgers and her sister Severa Miller.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son Corey Rodgers; two brothers Larry Rodgers, Robert Rodgers; two grandchildren Shanelle Rodgers, Tamarion Walden; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 111 Swain Drive Danville, VA 24540 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 05, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Union Street Missionary Baptist Church, 100 Sycamore Street Danville, VA 24541. Interment will be private. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
