Alvin Hayes

Alvin Hayes, 66, of Danville, VA passed away Friday October 31, 2025, at Sovah Health Danville.

Born September 26, 1959, in Danville, VA he was the son of the late Frederick D. Hayes Sr. and Beulah Walton Hayes. He was married to Sandra Adams Hayes, who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters Latoria Hayes, Tracy Saunders and Karen Saunders; two sons Alvin Hayes Jr. and Hugh Saunders; two sisters Arleen Ireland (Alan) and Tina Hayes; two brothers Frederick Hayes Jr and Phillip Hayes (Wanda); and a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 8, 2025, at 1 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Services Chapel.
