Alvin Randolph Elliott

Alvin Randolph Elliott, 81, of 41 Baltimore Avenue, Danville, VA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Roman Eagle Nursing Home after being in declining health for the last few months.

Alvin was born on March 1, 1941, in Pittsylvania County, VA, a son of the late Curtis H. Elliott and Edith L. Parsons. He spent most of his life in the Danville and Pittsylvania County areas where he worked as a Carpenter and was self-employed until his retirement. He took pride working at Sunset Beach North Carolina building over 107 houses in the 10 years he lived there. In his spare time, Alvin enjoyed building and restoring classic cars. And meeting his friends for coffee at McDonald's.

On February 7th, 1970, Alvin married Brenda Elaine Goins who predeceased him.

In addition to his parents and wife Alvin was predeceased by two sisters Joyce Nanny and Barbara Elliott; one brother Ronnie Elliott; and one granddaughter Mari Elizabeth Elliott.

Alvin is survived by his sons, Daryl Elliott and wife Christy of Danville, VA, Jason Elliott and wife Amanda of Danville, VA and daughter Stephanie Elliott of Danville, VA; two sisters Rebecca Boulware and Patricia Elliott; eight grandchildren, Hannah N. Elliott of Danville, VA, Joseph Elliott of Danville, VA, Michael Elliott of Danville, VA, Heather Elliott of Danville, VA, Caleb Mitchell of Danville, VA, Robert Arwood of Shallotte NC, Luke Elliott of Danville, VA Libby L. Elliott of Danville, VA and one great grandchild Elaina Mitchell and devoted friends William Dawson and Josh Wood.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 5 P.M- 7 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Services, 179 Piney Forest Road Danville, Virginia.
