Alphonso Stephens, 45, of Danville Virginia passed away Thursday September 26, 2024 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born August 11, 1979, in Danville, Virginia he was the son of the late Abner Stephens and Linda Pritchett Stephens, who survives. He was married to Shannon Thornton Stephens, who survives.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by one son Tajon Graves; five sisters Barbara Haymes, Cynthia Wade, Joan Hodnett, Anne K Dobson, and LaKaisha Stone; four brothers James Stephens, Abner Stephens Jr., Bryant Stephens, and Marty Stone Sr.; two grandchildren Tajon Graves Jr., and Royal Bleu Thornton; a special Aunty Inetha Gunter; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Keontez Stephens.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 5, 2024, at 11:00 A.M at Apostolic Faith Temple with Rev. Jonathan King Sr., Eulogist. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service.
